Bomberos de Taltal está ad-portas de celebrar 141 años de servicio activo. Como parte de la celebración, el cuerpo decidió incorporar en su programa la realización de actividades sociales. Entre ellas, un operativo de limpieza de playas en conjunto con jóvenes de la comunidad.
Este viernes, durante la jornada de la mañana, 90 estudiantes de la Escuela E-104 y personal de la Ilustre Municipalidad se sumaron a la iniciativa convocada en el sector Muelle Piedra.
"Hemos querido aprovechar nuestra vinculación con la comuna y nos coordinamos especialmente con el municipio, docentes y estudiantes de la Escuela Victoriano Quinteros Soto, que son parte del programa de medio ambiente. De forma conjunta nos dispusimos durante tres horas a recoger residuos de la playa, entre los que se destacan botellas y plásticos. Juntamos casi una tonelada de desechos. En la jornada de la tarde, Bomberos con el uso de maquinaria, procedimos a retirar neumáticos botados en el sector que comprende la playa Muelle Piedra" detalló el Superintendente Rodrigo Ramírez.
"Como municipio valoramos esta gestión desinteresada y en equipo, que refleja el compromiso con nuestra comuna. Nuestras playas son un hermoso y natural atractivo que debemos cuidar y mantener siempre en buenas condiciones. Quisiera expresar nuestro agradecimiento por la noble labor de los voluntarios y voluntarias, por su colaboración incondicional con la comunidad” concluyó el alcalde Guillermo Hidalgo Ocampo.
